A recent Pew survey indicates that a huge percentage of white evangelicals continue to support Trump, despite the fact that his overall approval rating is tanking. But as a non-Christian friend angrily asked me, “What in Christ’s name are you Christians up to defending this guy?!” I agree with his frustration.
